The June update brings six new features focused on performance visibility and faster campaign setup. The biggest addition is the new analytics dashboard, which now shows website-level data alongside your existing campaign metrics, so you can spot where revenue is slipping without opening GA4. The update also includes Google Product Feed support for non-native platforms, unique coupon codes for Lucky Wheel, a point and click setup for click-triggered popups, cleaner countdown timers by default, and autosave in the campaign editor.

Previously, if you wanted to show a popup when someone clicked a specific area on your website, you had to use a CSS selector. This worked well for technical users, but it could be difficult if you didn’t know exactly which code to enter.

We’ve simplified the process with a new point-and-click setup.

Here’s how it works:

When setting up an "On click to a specific area" trigger, click the Select Element button. OptiMonk will redirect you to your website, where you simply click the element you want to use as the trigger — a button, link, image, menu item, or any other clickable area. Once selected, the popup will appear whenever visitors click that element.

This means:

  • No need to manually enter CSS selectors
  • Fewer errors caused by incorrect selector codes

If your store has a Google Product Feed, OptiMonk can pull in your product data, including names, images, and other key details, and turn it into a usable catalog. You can use it to display whole-store best sellers in a recommendation popup or manually select specific products to promote.

From now on, your Lucky Wheel campaigns can generate a unique coupon code for every winner, instead of giving the same fixed code to everyone who lands on the same slice.

Here's how it works:

OptiMonk now generates a unique code for each winner automatically, either from a pre-uploaded list or via Shopify's coupon generator.

This means:

  • Every winner gets their own unique coupon code
  • Unique codes work more reliably at checkout
  • Upload your own code list or let Shopify generate them automatically
  • No more one-size-fits-all discount codes for your gamification campaigns

Countdown timer update

Countdown timer update

From now on, countdown timers only show three time units at a time, so your popups stay clean and focused without any extra setup.

Here's how it works:

When your countdown is set to days, seconds stay hidden until the timer drops below 24 hours. At that point they appear automatically, so visitors always see the most relevant units.

This means:

  • Cleaner countdown displays out of the box
  • Visitors see only the time units that matter right now
  • Works automatically across your existing countdown templates

Autosave is now available in the editor

Autosave is now part of the editor

Your changes are saved automatically while you work, so you don't have to worry about losing progress if you accidentally close the window, refresh the page, get logged out, or switch between tabs.

Here’s how it works:

As you edit a campaign, OptiMonk continuously saves your latest changes in the background. If you leave the editor unexpectedly, OptiMonk will detect the unsaved version and prompt you to continue from where you left off when you return.

This means:

  • Less risk of losing your work
  • More protection when working across multiple tabs or sessions
  • Fewer interruptions caused by accidental exits or logouts
