Requirements description

  • 4+ years of Product Management or similar experience, preferably with B2B SaaS products.
  • Strong digital marketing or product marketing background, stemming from experience with a martech product and/or previous responsibilities of managing online marketing funnels.
  • Familiarity with website conversion and/or user journey optimization tactics and techniques would be a huge plus. Digital agency experience might be an advantage too, as many of our customers are agencies.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to extract patterns and insights from data. Experience with Google Analytics or other traffic analysis tool is a must.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and delivering results, a strong bias for execution. Previous startup experience or jobs with dynamic, diverse responsibilities might also be beneficial.

Knowledge of one or more of these is a plus

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment working on a SaaS product
  • Experience in eCommerce

OptiMonk is developing an amazing marketing personalization SAAS tool, our mission is to provide Amazon-like capabilities to small businesses from around the world. We are seeking a marketing and growth-focused Product Manager who will be involved in every aspect of our SaaS product-led growth strategy, discovery, and delivery process.

Your mission will be to accelerate the acquisition and onboarding of OptiMonk’s users. Working together with a small team of engineers, a designer and a UX researcher, you will have the opportunity to build a complete SaaS conversion funnel, creating user journey experiments, measuring and optimizing key performance metrics. Your team will implement everything necessary to maximize growth: our public web presence, sign-up experience, onboarding journey, in-product messaging, etc. 🦄

How would you contribute to our mission?

You will be at the heart of our product-led growth strategy and will work closely with the Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and Sales teams, as well as with other product teams. Your main tasks will be:

Building a team 

  • As a Product Manager, together with an Engineering Team Lead you will build a new growth and adoption-focused team from the ground up.
  • You will have a chance to adopt and implement processes customized to your team’s needs.

Discovery

  • Working with our UX and Customer teams, you will conduct user research to identify key issues and the right problems to be solved.
  • You will need to keep an eye on industry best practices and competitors to learn about best-in-class solutions.
  • You will be constantly monitoring, measuring, and analyzing our user acquisition funnels and customer retention metrics, to come up with insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • You will also be involved in OptiMonk’s product research to identify personalization opportunities for our customers.

Strategy & planning

  • You will be involved in long-term strategic thinking around our product vision and positioning.
  • You are expected to give product development recommendations and make roadmap planning decisions on a quarterly and monthly schedule, working closely with C-level stakeholders.

Delivery

  • Working with our existing product teams and our data science specialist, your team will implement measures to optimize our conversion and churn rates.
  • You will be doing all the familiar stuff that Product Managers in charge of agile software development teams regularly do, standups, project management, gathering requirements, project documentation, etc.
