Recent advances in artificial intelligence have come with all sorts of promises, but whether or not you feel like the technology has lived up to the hype probably depends on how useful you’ve found it in your everyday working routine.
The truth is that AI is only as useful as the package it comes in. A great tool that really leverages the capabilities of AI in the right way can be incredibly valuable.
In this article, we’re going to share 8 AI tools that have revolutionized the way we work—in fact, they’ve become integral to our operations at OptiMonk.
Let’s get right into it!
1. OpusClip
The first tool is one our social media marketer uses all the time: OpusClip.
OpusClip is an AI video generation platform that helps repurpose long videos (podcast episodes and webinars) into shorts that can easily be shared on social media.
All you have to do is upload your long video or drop a link to it (it can be a YouTube link, Google Drive link, or Zoom link)…

…and voila, your high-quality videos are ready!
It will give you a list of short, engaging videos with a score and description of each video:

We love that OpusClip is able to identify the most compelling and interesting parts of your video files all on its own. It can also automatically add captions and relevant emojis, meaning that you don’t need to do the work yourself. How great is that? It will save you a ton of time.
Here’s an example of a video content we created with OpusClip:
2. Surfer AI
Surfer SEO is a great tool we’ve been using for years. It’s been a crucial part of our SEO efforts, as it’s a content intelligence tool designed to help write SEO-optimized content.
Their new Surfer AI feature is a recent AI writing assistant extension that can help you create an article that’s optimized for the right keywords in just minutes.
What we love about this AI writing tool is that it creates an outline based on your keywords, and then you get the chance to review the outline, make changes, or even add custom knowledge for each section.

Once you’re happy with the outline, Surfer AI creates your article.
While this is an amazing AI writing tool that can help to speed up the content writing process, keep in mind that we never publish these articles without editing and we suggest you do the same.
You should always put in a bit of manual work in your AI-generated content, for example:
- Remove fluff and repetitions
- Add more context and bullet-point lists
- Add examples and images
3. ElevenLabs
Eleven Labs is an AI voice generator that creates high-quality spoken audio in any voice, style, and language.
We use this AI tool to convert text to speech and generate realistic voiceovers based on video scripts.
What we love about this tool is that you can even “clone” your own voice. In the screenshot below, you can see that we added a new voice for our CEO, Csaba Zajdo.

4. Respona
The next AI tool on our list is perfect for people who do outreach and want to streamline the process.
Respona is a link-building outreach platform that’s designed to automate the process of outreach and building backlinks.
You can get started with one of their many templates (like podcast outreach or listicle) or you can start an advanced campaign from scratch.

You just fill out the questions, and your email template is automatically personalized based on that information. You can also make other changes to the email template if you’d like—and we suggest doing this so you don’t end up using the exact same message as every other Respona user.

Based on your keywords and settings, Respona automatically finds outreach opportunities for you (including verified email addresses), and then personalizes your outreach email with help from AI.

5. RivalFlowAI
RivalFlowAI is an AI-powered SEO content optimization tool that helps you find opportunities to improve your existing content.
Once you add your website, it will show you content optimization opportunities just like the one below:

It shows you the questions that your competitors answer that you don’t and even suggests AI-written copy to add to your article.

One thing to keep in mind when using this AI software is that in some cases the ranking it shows is not correct. We use Ahrefs to monitor our ranking for keywords, and we’ve noticed that the ranking is not the same across these two tools.
6. Blend
Blend is an AI photo editor that helps you create professional product photos and designs in just a few clicks.
We use it to remove the background of images we want to use on our website, like profile photos. It also helps us generate an aesthetic background for our images without relying on graphic designers.

As an ecommerce store owner, you can use this AI image generator for your product photos, too.
7. Ahrefs
Ahrefs is one of the most popular SEO tools out there, and it’s one we’ve been using for many years. They’ve recently added a new AI assistant to their Keywords Explorer, making keyword research much faster.

You can choose a preset (e.g. challenges or pain points) and type in your seed keyword:

In seconds, you’ll get a whole list of seed keywords that you can use for your keyword research.

8. OptiMonk AI
OptiMonk AI is an AI-powered CRO and personalization tool (made by us!). So it probably comes as no surprise that we use our own AI tool to improve conversion rates on our website.
We use machine learning technology to run automated A/B tests on all our pages and find the best headlines and value propositions for our landing pages.
We also use it to show personalized exit-intent popups to each visitor based on the pages they’re browsing.

For example, visitors who read about limited-time offers saw this popup, which was extremely relevant to them:

But visitors who read about upselling strategies and wanted to increase their ecommerce profit saw a different headline:

Wrapping up
These are the most useful AI tools we’ve found since the explosion of interest in artificial intelligence that happened last year. These AI tools can help free up our time for the really important tasks by taking care of a lot of the work we used to have to do manually.
We’re excited to see where the continued development of AI software goes this year, and hope that we can add several more tools to our arsenal!
